Kris McCoy

CEO, Proximity Station Inc.

Kris McCoy is a former Marine and a graduate from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. McCoy was a Publicist for over 5 years and a singer/songwriter who has been playing out for more than 10 years. With shows ranging from small intimate bars to national venues, he has been fortunate enough to play alongside some great musicians and record two full length albums. Over the years, McCoy has played for hundreds of thousands of people while opening up for the Barenaked Ladies, Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth, Live, and The Fly’s. With a passion for writing music, he is working on new material for an upcoming solo album.

As Founder and CEO of Proximity Station Inc., he started the company to not only further his own music career and outreach, but to help other like-minded musicians around the country. Proximity Station Inc. is an online radio station/publication that introduces original music and great products to fans, bands and anyone in their proximity. Formed in 2009, Proximity Station Inc. is a one stop shop for bands to get ideas, motivation and some additional support and tools to help them succeed.
